Provide the tool/panel which you think will be most useful when working on the Magazine Madness project. In what way will this tool/panel help you with this project?
In this topic I will use the magic wand to fade the image due to the magazine cover I am copying has a lot of different fades with the topic and the background. This will help me bring out my image more.
One tool that has been extremely useful for me is the selection tool. I use this tool to select a specific text and with that text I am able to find out what font the text is.
The Photoshop tool that will be the most useful for the magazine project for me is the match text tool. This is useful because it helps make my magazine look more like the original one.
Using the History panel is going to help me on my magazine madness project because I mess up using tools and being able to restart from a certain point at any time helps out.
The most helpful tool/panel for the magazine project is the characters tool. This helped me match the exact font, color, and size of the text to the original magazine.
I feel like the font and color match will be the most useful while working on this project. The magazine cover I am working with has many different shades of colors, along with many different fonts that it uses. The font and color match tools will help me find the closest font and the exact color so my replication can look exactly the same as the original.
The history will be most important because everyone is going to be making a lot of mistakes since I could say that we are still "rookies" in photoshop. The history panel will allow us to go back and remove actions we have done incorrectly, as well as then give us another chance to try again and hopefully complete the task correctly
The magnetic lasso tool would help me most when creating my magazine cover. This is because I need to do a lot of cut & pasteing on myself and on objects in the original cover.
The tool that will be most useful when working on the Magazine Madness project is the text tool. My project has a lot of different color, shape, and size text. The text tool can help me match the text to the original helping me successfully recreate the magazine.
I think the most useful tool when working on the Magazine Madness project is using the eye dropper tool. This tool helps find the precise color for text or shapes on a magazine. I use this a lot because most of my text is different colors. The eye dropper tool also gives the student the hex code for the color, which is helpful when wanting to know the exact color.
I think that the most useful tool would be the move/resize tool because many things need to be changed in size and shape. For example you can create a box then resize it into the borders. And the people or objects it allows you to move and resize them so that you can make things to look like you want them to.
One panel that is really important to use for the magazine project is the character panel because it allows you to match the font of the cover and makes the cover more realistic and presentable. This helps me out because it takes my photoshop skills one step further.
I think the layers panel is the most useful because you can select a layer to work on with out messing up your project. With the layers panel you can turn off and on a layer, you can edit a certain part of the project and more
Match Font
